Laken Riley, a 22 year old Georgia nursing student murdered by an illegal Venezuelan gang member back in early 2024 was the center of attention when President Trump promised to buckle down on national security. Laken was out for a run early around 9 a.m. before heading to class that day when Jose Antonio Ibarra stopped her dead in her tracks. Prosecutors say he was, “Out for his hunt” the morning he decided to take young Laken’s life. Her electronic gadgets proved that she fought fiercely for her life for 17 minutes.
The Laken Riley Act was passed by the house on January 22, 2025. The democrats that were against this bill were among Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, aka AOC on X. She’s a NY congresswoman who speaks openly about defending the rights of illegals. Her social media posts are outrageous. She made sure to videotape her response to this act being passed.
The bill requires the detainment of unauthorized immigrants accused of theft and violent crimes which is one of the reasons AOC is so upset the bill got passed. Her stance is that if someone so much as looks at you and points a finger accusing you of petty theft, you will get deported and never be allowed back into our country. Surprisingly he did say her name but mispronounced and received even more criticism for the open border his administration created.

Who Is Laken Riley
Laken loved life. She was a God fearing woman who enjoyed the outdoors, adored her friends and family, ran faithfully every day because she embraced the nature of just being free. You can tell by her Instagram how much she craved being in tune with the Earth. The friends she surrounded herself with daily was a reflection of how beautiful each relationship was. Many of us moms around the world will never forget this shining beauty who shed so much light in such a horrific way. I think I speak for all of us when I say that she touched our lives. The tears will always roll down our face when we think about what she had to endure because The Biden Administration didn’t protect it’s own.
